Elijah Steele

Jazz, Fusion and Futuristic Guitar Rock

Born and raised in the South and the Midwest, Elijah Steele first absorbed the sounds of bluegrass and country before moving onto the more modern sounds of rock and jazz. In 2002, Elijah moved to New York and quickly became a first call sesssion musician. His most recent recording is an exciting and progressive journey into fusion featuring bassist Matt Garrison (Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin, Steve Coleman), turntablist DJ Logic (Medeski Martin and Wood, John Scofield) and drummer Ron Thaler.

Currently Elijah is working on a rock album, "Satellite Medicine" which will be released in late 2007.
