Bio
Elisabet Raspall is a renowned Catalan Composer, Pianist and Singer from Barcelona with an ample career. Her original music combines a strong Jazz background with diverse influences, such as Classical, Bossa nova, Ethnical, Pop and Minimal music; all of them merging into a whole new world of evoking and transforming atmospheres, with a unique mediterranean touch.
Being consolidated in the national scene as one of the best Catalan Jazz Composers of the last years and with her latest album “Vital” at postproduction stage, she plans to definitely jump into the International scene, either as Piano Solo or with her different bands.
She has published 10 CDs with her own original compositions, with the collaboration of great musicians such as Chris Cheek, Marc Miralta, Dani Pérez, Tom Warburton, Rogério Botter Maio, Errol Woiski, amongst others. She has won several prizes for her albums and compositions. She has also collaborated with other bands such as “Rogerio Botter Maio Group” and “De Diego Brothers”.
