"Review Of Eli Seals, Aug 1 2007"

Eli Seals has a real country music at its zenith sound – not the current drivel that comes out of Nashville. He has an absolutely lovely voice that could have given Kenny or George or any of ‘em a run for their money back in the 70’s and ‘80’s. He is from Franklinton, Louisiana. “Look Both Ways” is very radio friendly, if radio would stop playing songs about being a Mr. Mom or college girls hooking up with maintenance men (as if!).

“27 Dollars and Very Little Sense” should be making Alan Jackson very nervous. It’s rocking and would be a replacement for many of his older stuff on the air.

Bio

It has been said of Eli Seals, “He has a voice legends are made of”. And when you hear Eli sing, you will instantly understand why this statement was made.
Eli Seals hails from a very small town in Louisiana, so small in fact that his mailing address is actually in the nearest larger town. Eli grew up working the family dairy farm, as did all of his brothers and sisters. But he also grew up with a tremendous love for music and began writing songs when he was very young. And like so many great Country and Christian Country Artists, he started singing those songs in his local church.
It wasn’t long before people took notice of Eli’s talent and passion and asked Eli to sing at other churches throughout Louisiana.
The church performances led to school and public performances that continued to establish Eli as one of the premier Country Artists in Louisiana. And today he is one of the most sought after Country performers in the gulf south.
Eli has shared the stage with many of Country’s top artists, such as T Graham Brown, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Billy Joe Royal, Ricky Skaggs, John Connely, and Lee Brice.
Eli’s songs are written from the heart, and you can hear that in every verse and chorus. His signature song “Fathers Touch” was written about Eli’s father and the many hard years he spent, and continues to spend working the family farm to provide for Eli and his family. Just listen to these words; “your calloused hands, they kept us fed”. This is real life, and comes from the heart. We guarantee you will have tears in your eyes when you hear Eli sing Fathers Touch. It touches you that deeply, because we can all relate to the message.
Every song Eli writes and performs has that same deep meaning and heart felt emotion wrapped up in it. His songs come from life, a country boy’s life. Not always an easy life, but one built around family, friends, and the ups and downs that make it, well; Life.
His voice is unique and powerful.
His songs are filled with life, love, passion, and honesty.
His performances are mesmerizing and emotional.
Listen to Eli’s music, and it will be immediately clear why the statement was made “He has a voice legends are made of”.
