Bio
I've always loved songwriting, All forms of composition tell a story, whether they are instrumental or with voice and words. I like to incorporate harmonic invention into my songs.
I have been greatly influenced by jazz and classical music. Bold strokes against absolute subtlety are the framework for my music. I have melded those sensibilities with other popular forms such as folk, rock and blues. Improvisation is a large component, while the core remains the song itself. Recently I went to Africa for a month to collaborate with brilliant musicians in Bamako. I am now thrilled to be mixing the many tracks produced while there. "Three Weeks In Bamako" will be released by the end of '09.
