Bio
Elisium is a powerhouse trio performing their own brand of edgy rock music. Originally the band was made up of three brothers, Nathan, Kirb and Gabe Compton. Gabe recently left the band for personal obligations and has been replaced by another Nathan (Thomas). With Nathan Compton on guitars and lead vocals, Kirb on bass and Nathan Thomas on drums Elisium has never sounded better. Their first CD, Things They Carried, is full of original songs showcasing Nathans phenomenal vocal abilities as well as his strong guitar playing, Kirb is a master craftsman of the bass guitar and brother Gabe is perfection on the drums. Nathan Thomas had some very big shoes to fill replacing Gabe, however, Elisiums fans are ecstatic about this current line up so it is safe to say Nate T. has earned his spot in Elisium.
Elisiums home base is Fredericksburg, VA which is the core of their fan base. The bands touring has secured them a growing regional fan base South to South Carolina and North in to Boston. Elisium will soon have a national fan base from coast to coast.
Elisiums live performance is so strong, Hard Volume Records signed the band after a scout from the label saw a live show. It wont be long before Elisium will be added to shows such as Ozzfest and Monsters of Mayhem. Despite the bands edgy sound Nathan and Kirb actually perform an excellent acoustic show. The bands versatility is incredible and Elisium performs for their audience. Their live shows are not only great sounding but the band knows how to play for a crowd.
