Who listen to the album "Get Out" for the first time will probably ask, "What is this foreign band?". But the impression made by hearing the song in English fools, because actually it is a gaucho band.
The Elixir Inc. was born in 2001 in the city of Bento Gonçalves, when childhood friends decided to rock'n roll, initially playing covers of their idols. Gradually, his own compositions have gained space, and although not hide the strong influences, the members take pride in speaking of the single group style. "The major influences were the band Rolling Stones, Guns N 'Roses, Kiss, Aerosmith, AC / DC, among others. But the sound of the band is based on five different people meeting and making a sound, "says vocalist Vinnie.

Asked about a possible similarity with Guns, bassist Justin Della responds with good humor: "Guns? No! What is it? Haha. In fact, the spice in our CD them is, yes! But is not what we want to be, we are the Elixir "ponders the musician, noted that the songs were played in his band opening act of Slash (former guitarist of Guns) in Curitiba and São Paulo.
Besides Vinnie and Della, the Elixir is formed by Giovas, Marcão and Mauricio Meinert. International experiences of the members were striking for the musical training of the group. Vinnie, for example, studied in the USA, where he had contact with musicians and played in bars in New York. Recently, producer Barry Lions, who has worked with Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne, highlighted the potential of the band and suggested media actions that culminated in the participation of the gauchos in some battles between bands, known in Brazil as "Cage Match Pull".
Della highlights the fact that they were reminded abroad: "Suddenly comes the news, 'O, is an American radio putting you in roulette there' ... and we are still playing there," he explains. It is also worth noting that the Elixir won all the duels that participated, including before the consecrated band Pantera.

The album "Get Out" also had foreign contribution, with the production of Brendan Duffey and Adriano Daga, winners of two Latin Grammys. "It was a unique experience! For the gringo Brendan understands and Adriano is crazy! It was the perfect mix for a very good CD, "Vinnie says. This is an EP of 23 minutes, with 6 songs, 4 of the EP and bonus 2 edited for American radios.
