Bio

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, we met when studying classical voice at Dalhousie University for BMus. Elizabeth's musical background was strongly classical, providing her with many years of classical training in piano, voice and violin. Scott's background was a combination of contemporary praise & worship and classical singing.

Married for 15 years now, with three beautiful children, our musical styles have grown and changed. Scott completed 6 years in Worship and Youth Ministry at a thriving church in Maine where Elizabeth served alongside of him as worship leader, writer and pianist for several worship bands, and Youth leader. We currently are serving at Kingswood University in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. Scott is the Executive Director of Admissions and Elizabeth is the Director of Worship and an Adjunct Professor of Voice. Our hearts are to see people come to a saving knowledge of Christ, and to daily grow in an authentic relationship with Him. The music we sing and write is birthed from awe at God's power, trust in His sovereignty and obedience to His call. For both corporate worship in churches, and the average listener at home, we want to provide lyrics that help people express their desperate need for the Lord, and their passionate thanks for Who God IS.

Scott and Elizabeth are available for booking as speakers, worship leaders and guest musicians. Elizabeth is also available to write commissioned songs for Christian artists and for collaboration.

In 2002, our album "Nearer to Thee" was a nominee for Gospel Artist of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards. In 2007, the song "Fly" was a semi-finalist in the International God-song Competition. In 2009, our song "Undefiled Worship" placed in the Top 20 for its category in the International Unisong Contest. It has also been selected for video production as a highlighted song for the Wesleyan Denomination International. Elizabeth has had several songs place as semi-finalist in the CCMNI Songwriting competition in 2009 and she was a 2009 ECMA nominee as Gospel Artist of the Year for her album "Something Beautiful". Two of her songs recently placed in the Top 10 of a songwriting competition for the North American Wesleyan Church, and she was also selected to attend a writing retreat in May 2012 in Franklin TN, hosted by All About Worship. Elizabeth's music is currently available through iTunes and Nimbit.com.
