Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
So I took piano lessons when I was younger but unless you knew me during those grammer school years I probably didn’t mention it you to you because I hated taking lessons. Well, I moved back home after three semesters at the U. of Hartford in CT, and tried to play piano again but reading the notes was a lost skill that lead to frustration. So…da da da daaaaaaaaa….I wrote my own songs! . During my last year of school at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ, I started to get a handle on songwriting and my songs started to actually sound like songs. I graduated in 2005 with a major in special education and was hired this September in a great school district working alongside some great people. Since writing my first song, my song list has grown into a collection I can’t wait to record and share with everyone. Each song is special to me and comes from a place deep in my heart. I want people to listen to my songs and feel something. I hope that some songs offer a welcomed comfort (We Belong, Believe, Kiss Me Again, A thought for you), while other songs offer a feeling of excitement (Temptation, Every Moment, First Kiss, Beats in my heart). I feel like so much has happened in the past year, I really can’t wait to see what comes in the next!
