Biography

I was introduced to the circus arts two years ago through contact with the fire spinning community. I jumped in with both feet and have spent the last two years performing both solo and with troupes in Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Reno.

My most recent act is a feather-fan spinning and dancing act set to the music of Basement Jaxx, "Do Your Thing." There is shaking, bumping, and grinding, not to mention sparkle, sequins, and feathers. And, of course, my very own unique style of fan spinning!

I recently had a blast performing my feather-fan spinning act in the Sideshow Ball portion of the Great Boston Burlesque Exposition.

I performed with Sensoriel and the Calefaction Society at the Daedalus Books Harry Potter Release Party in the summer of 2007.

I am the helmsman (organizer) for the Aish Tamid Philadelphia Fire Conclave, a group of talented fire performers who will take their narrative-based fire act out to Reno, Nevada in August.

I have performed with Baltimore's Charm City Kitty Club, a queer-women-oriented cabaret, at their Gay Pride March in the summer of 2007.

I have performed on the streets of Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore as a living statue and fan dancer.

I am currently working with the Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band/Madcap Rumpus Society on an upcoming spring circus show.
