Biography

As a young artist from the Central West in NSW, Elle Trinder's first recorded album is a far cry from the sounds of country and western ballads you would expect to be generated in the area.
Her music has drawn comparisons to a variety of singers in the past, but not able to be too easily categorised which is a testament to her unique vocal range and sound.
Elle's career started after being discovered at an early age, performances escalating at the Sydney Opera House and as a lead vocalist and performer in high school concerts and musicals. Elle frequently performs at weddings and has travelled internationally to do so.
Elle has had classical training with several notable vocal teachers in Sydney and continues to maximise her abilities through further training.
Elle began composing and performing her own music, enjoying genres varying from classical, folk, jazz, blues and pop music that complements both her voice and her talent as a singer and songwriter.
Elle's debut album is currently being recorded at RMS Studios exclusively with Dean Bennison who has co-written Elle's newest music. Other music featured on this album has been written by Becky Shepherd or co-written with her. The combination of these two female vocalists lends a very unique sound.
Elle's love for music is evident in her day to day life, surrounded by instruments, lessons, studio dates and the sound of music resonating her own little demo studio she has said she couldn't imagine doing anything with her life that didn't involve this passion somehow.

Lyrics

More Wine

Written By: Elle Trinder

VERSE 1
Mood down
Watching the clouds roll into town
I can smell the rain
It's coming
I can feel the rain
It's running down my face
CHORUS
I'm in exile
But only for a little while
Wash away the pain of today
And I will
Drink some more wine
VERSE 2
Cold days
No sunshine tears shed
And I am lonely
For the sunset no stars shine
I'll sit back
And drink some more wine
CHORUS
I'm in exile
But only for a little while
Wash away the pain of today
And I will
Drink some more wine
VERSE 3
Night falls
The wind blows a memory
Runs chills up my spine
Echoes the rooms spins
It's mayhem
My mind is whirling
CHORUS
I'm in exile
But only for a little while
Wash away the pain of today
And I will
Drink some more wine
VERSE 4
It's quiet
I put on a sad song
And now I'm crying
The moon shines
Casting a light in my eyes
CHORUS
I'm in exile
But only for a little while
Wash away the pain of today
And I will
Drink some more wine
