Elley Duhe

I’m an eighteen year old singer/songwriter from the coast of Mississippi. I was born in Mobile Alabama but I have called Mississippi "home" for the past 10 years. I love living along the coast and plan on traveling with my music to different audiences this year as I am now a High School Graduate! My style reflects my earliest influences, Jewel, Joss Stone, Sheryl Crowe, Tom Petty, Janis Joplin, The Counting Crows, Tom Petty, Cash, and Keyes, among others. My songs live somewhere in the mix of all that - Folk, Pop, Southern Rock etc…

With supportive parents, I have been fronting my own band this year and playing acoustic shows across the Gulf Coast of Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. I’ve opened for Sister Hazel, Benjy Davis Project and have had the honor of sharing the stage with Colt Ford, Ashton Sheperd, Jessica Harp (the Wreckers) and Crossin Dixon. In addition to playing regional venues and festivals, collaborations to create new sounds with a very talented national musician are in the works! An album is coming… so for now, I’m gigging with my pocket full of songs and a demo!

At the end of 2008 ABC’s radio show, FAMEGAMES voted me “BEST ACOUSTIC FEMALE ARTIST” and “ BEST FEMALE VOCAL”. The honor continued into 2009 with another award for “BEST ACOUSTIC FEMALE ACT”
