Bio

Born in Hollywood, Florida on June 10th, 1976, Elliot Davis at early age showed his family that he had and innate ability for music that would eventually mature into the passionate, inspirational music that he composes and sings today. By the time he turned eight (8) years old, he had been recruited by Florida's renowned community choir "The Florida Singing Son's." In spite of the fact that he was a year younger than required, the director was insistent the Elliot be a part of the choir.

At the age of thirteen (13), Elliot had proven himself to be a musical prodigy who possesses a melodious tenor voice. He was selected to attend the University Of Miami's Honor Choir for junior high school students for the third time. In July of 1991, be received an acceptance letter from one of Florida's top performing arts schools, Dillard School of the Performing Arts.

At age fifteen (15), Elliot had been on stage performing at venues like The Broward Performing Arts Center, The Kaleb Center and The Phillip Michael Thomas Center. Elliot did not understand why he was led to sing songs like "Running Back to You" and "Tis So Sweet", but it eventually became apparent. In addition, he admitted that having to sing solo was a humbling experience for him. However, as the crowd chanted his name in anticipation for what they were about to hear, Elliot felt that there was something more to this "singing thing."

By the end of his freshmen year, Elliot had given his life to Jesus Christ and found himself looking for and listening to what the spirit of the Lord wanted him to. The ministry of music had been revealed to his heart and had now become his purpose. Singing was no longer just a "singing thing." Consequently, Elliot formed singing groups in pursuit of his ministry. Nevertheless, he still found himself unfulfilled. Years past and Elliot had received many awards in recognition of his accomplishments... his gift, but he still found himself outside of the will of God thus very discouraged.

Elliot spent the next eleven (11) years working with his gift and making decisions that lead him further away from Christ. During that time, he worked with renowned artists such as Tony Terry as a backup singer on Terry's CD project "Changed." He has also worked with Stephen Marley and Mista Cheeks of the Lost Boyz. However, Elliot still felt lost. So In January of 2005 he rededicated his life to the Lord and began to find that peace he had long forgotten. In the summer of 2009, Elliot began his own indie label called GospelLife Entertainment and is now working on his first solo project which consists of original lyric and music that can be termed as anointed, spirit filled, uplifting and encouraging music. This Psalmist is excited about what God is doing in his life, and feels honored that the Lord is allowing his debut CD entitled "Accountable" to be released in the fall of 2009.
