Bio

Watch your toes and mind your dogma, for they will be stepped on and mashed by this pack of lads and their musical wit. Rightfully influenced by the genius of Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, giving notable mentions to Woven Hand, 16 Horsepower (and anyone else who has ever laid a tasty lick on the banjo or guitar), Elliott Moonshine & the Ghost powers through original songs written to inspire thought and a drink or two.
The band has played numerous shows and continues to work in the studio after releasing a solid EP only a few months after forming.
Hailing from across the globe, each member has settled in Denver, Colorado but pay homage to their original stomping grounds through their dedication to hard work and desire to accomplish their dreams.
Nicolas Busquet traversed his way into the U.S. via French wings and swagger. Primarily wielding the guitar, you will hear him brandishing a banjo, mandolin and his beloved ukulele. His sense of how those instruments are played is what sets his style apart from the norm with unique tones played in true rock-star bravado. He drives home the songs’ lyrics with intensity and passion through his vocal undulation and literary mastering.
Tyler Garn is a Michigan native that can point to his hand showing you the exact location of his hometown. What other state has that characteristic? Those same hands make Tyler a very melodic figure, playing all that is strung or keyed – guitars to piano to organ. Don't be fooled by the smooth demeanor that he presents, his singing style reflects notes of cheap whiskey and poor air quality. Tyler's love and knowledge of old films transfer to a cowboy strut in the message and styling of his offerings to the band.
Chris Ringwood. Bass player. Rhythm Generator. Hit man. Not the latter, guaranteed, but you will recognize this Floridian commodity through his strongly influenced style that he obtained while residing in North Carolina. Flavoring his playing style with hints of alt-country, jazz and bluegrass, Chris gives the tune its big-ass bottom end, having shaken one or two along the way. Through distinctive notation, Chris fills the space of the song like an artistic mason, laying a strong foundation on a path that leads to an incredible destination.
Jefferson Fee can point to a map. If you have the time and patience he can also tell you where he's from. Born of a Californian mother he moved from there to six other states, most recently Minnesota. He's definitely been around the block, musically speaking. Very proudly proclaiming his rock and metal roots he has pounded the hearts and eardrums of band mates and audiences, igniting a new energy in the Dark Americana and Folk-rock genre. Presiding over the drums his vantage-point is clear, be a musician; creative and thoughtful. However, don't mention that the throne he sits on garners any kind of authority, it will go to his head. With Chris, Jefferson finalizes the backbone of Elliott Moonshine & the Ghost.
