Bio

Four people met, following their pursuit of audio engineering at SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in Music City and connected through a desire to continue their love of playing, writing, and performing music. This band is about having fun, doing what you love, and expressing feelings- in time.

The stars aligned for these four to help each other progress in their quest to become better musicians. The abstract, outside of the box musical pieces keeps Ellvee on their toes. They are always striving to get better and tighter as a unit and also as individuals. Each member of this band has different influences coming from all genres of the musical spectrum. Rock and Roll, folk, ska, blues, jazz, soul, metal to name a few of the ever growing list of inspirations they pull from.

Lauren Vessio, the lead singer and main songwriter, has put together a group of epic proportions. She moved to Nashville, Tennesee from Hopewell Junction, New York to attend the SAE Institue and never dreamed of connecting so much with three "dudes" she never met in her life through her music! With tons of songs all ready written that were begging for a band to play on, and new material continually in the works, she found three of the best musicians from across the country to join her in her voyage.

The first recruit into the musical styling of Ellvee was Vince Periano from Sterling Heights, Michigan. Lauren heard that there was a bad-ass guitar player in the radar at SAE. With out even hearing him play, she knew he was the one she had to have as her lead guitar player. She asked him if he would be in her band, and he said "sure". The rest is history.

The second addition to the sound of Ellvee came in the form a time keeper named Chris Pence, from LaGrange, Indiana. Chris was a supervisor at SAE and gave Lauren an opportunity for internship hours at The Tin Roof, to learn more about live sound engineering. She found out he was a drummer and asked him to play on her demo, next thing you know they had a band and were gigging out.

On their journey to find a new bass player to jam with, they found the fourth and final piece to their band equilibrium, Edward A. Williams from St. Louis, Missouri. Ed, another supervisor at SAE, heard Chris playing some of the mixes he was working on for Lauren. Chris asked him to join them at band practice in his basement and that was the last slice of the pie needed to make this magical symmetry come together.

As a follow up to their 2011 demo "This was recorded in a Basement, It's called 'This was Recorded in a Basement' " they are currently working on their first full-length studio album, due to be released early 2012. These creative creatures are constantly working at making their band the best it an be. You can find them performing their captivating music at different venues all over Nashville. This band screams originality! Definitely one of Music City's newest up and coming must see and hear artists.
