Elmo Young Gutta

Elmo Young Gutta was born Gerrell Chase on September 15,1990. He spent is early childhood in northern East Baton Rouge, Chaneyville, area until the age of 6. He & his family then moved around from Glen Oaks and other a variety of other environments. To keep his mind focused on positive things, Rell, viewed football as a tool to escape his surroundings.When Gerrell was 13, he faced a life time changing event. July 8, 2004 his mother, Yvette Alexander Chase, died in an atrocious collision with an 18-wheeler. This provoked him to become a man early and spend majority of his time establishing a stable future for his family and other companions. Sports didn't seem like an option anymore. He was then expelled from school his sophmore year of high school.At 14, he then teamed up with childhood friend, Kenny Kyser and formed a indie label (Gutta Life Entertainment) and a duo called the Gutta Click. Together they released a hot disc, entitled Gutta Life Mixtape, that recieved a great circulation throught the 225 area. Unfortunately,Kyser went on and managed to get himself incarcerated.Young Gutta countinued writing & critique every lyric forming a fashion of mcing that cant quite be dupilcated. After being kicked out by his father, Elmo then quite rapping and returned to criminal intentions. After only being put out for 1 year, he'd been arrested twice, and life just seemed to get tougher. A minimum wage 9-5 just wouldn't work for him. He decided to become serious again with the pen and pad. Making you wanna listen to every word that comes out. Elmo is still in the lab as we speak. Grinding form this big ass buzz to bring the cleverness back to game. From situations like the relationship between he and his father, relationships with females, good times, love, hate, betrayal, prosperity, loyalty, and unexpected endings. Just to name a few topics. During the summer of 2009, Elmo Young Gutta accepted a management proposal and is now under the wing of COncrete Entertainment, Inc.
