Doug Church gave us 3 excellent shows here in the UK 3rd 4th 5th June at Walton On The Naze Essex UK. Once again Doug thrilled the UK audience with his tribute to Elvis and he received many standing ovations. Doug had everyone up dancing and we did not want the weekend to end. All the fans said how close Doug's voice is to Elvis and he certainly recreated for us what it might have been like to See Elvis Live! We just cannot get enough of Doug Church here in the UK so much so we are already planning his return visit. We had 3 sell-out shows as always with Doug Church and his Sunday performance was made special because Doug choose to do an all request night. Doug came off the stage and was up close with the audience. Doug went beyond the call of duty during this weekend . Not only had he done 3 shows in a row (Sunday night was his last performance) but sang for us taking requests for over 3 hours. We loved every minute of it. There were many different moods from the fans , from laughter, joy and excitement and even tears. When Doug sang his Tribute song I'll Be With You Always there was not a dry eye in the house. The fans went crazy as Doug belted out American Trilogy and fans were waving their Elvis flags and just taken back in ore of Doug's performances. Thank You Doug Church The Voice Of Elvis for visiting us here in the UK. You went beyond the call of duty and gave us so much Thank You! "I have always loved Elvis but since he died all there was out were the repackaged same songs I already owned. The only difference was they were maybe recoded at a different location or time. I received my order and played the three CD's. It was so wonderfully refreshing to hear Doug Church singing new songs and it was like ELVIS WAS BACK. I look forward to more Doug Church albums in the future. He has the voice I love to hear doing things Elvis would be doing if he was still here with us. More power to you and to him."

Review: "Doug Church has got to be the #1 Elvis Tribute Artist of ALL TIME. People used to think that Roddy McDowell was "The Voice of Elvis" but move aside Roddy. Let the REAL VOICE OF ELVIS in the door!!! There has never been nor will there ever be another person on this planet to take Doug's place (besides The King himself) in bringing back the true spirit of the LEGEND we came to know as Elvis Presley. I was born in '72 and missed my chance to see The King in person. When I saw the commercial for KINGTINUED and heard the voice from another room, I thought it was a commercial for a "Greatest Hits" package from Elvis but as I listened they were NEW SONGS that only came out AFTER Elvis left us. I ran to the living room and saw what was left of an amazing and unbelievable commercial on Doug's CD's. I ordered the CD's and listened to all 3 when I got them without stopping. They are truly breath taking and brought tears to my eyes. I thought to myself "This is my chance to experience the Gift of Elvis in MY time". Doug is a wonderful singer and outstanding Elvis Tribute Artist. If God is willing, I will try and book Doug for my birthday this year in November. That will be the best present ever. We did not reinvent the wheel, but we put new tires on it, and gave it a more polished and aristocratic look� Enter the Legends is a super-show, highlighting most of all - The Artists, for they are the ones making the show, not the other way around.
Our performers are professional entertainers, bringing their success to us from the cities of Las Vegas, Biloxi, Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Reno performing in cities like London, Copenhagen, Paris, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Tokyo, Beijing, Romania, Hungary, The Czech's Republic and other parts of the world.

The Sweet Inspirations, Female Backing Vocals
The soulful harmonies of the Sweet Inspirations have enriched recordings by Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett and other legends. They have collaborated with writers and producers such as Carole King, Burt Bacharach and Hal David. They've had success with R&B, gospel and pop recordings of their own, most notably their first hit single Sweet Inspiration, which gave the group their name in the late sixties and earned them a Grammy nomination. It was that song that caught the attention of Elvis Presley, who signed them to provide backing vocals and be an opening act for his record-breaking 1969 Las Vegas engagement, his official return to the live concert stage after his triumphant '68 TV special and the end of his Hollywood movie contract obligations. No audition was required. The Sweet Inspirations met him when they arrived for the first rehearsals for the '69 engagement. The "Sweets" worked with Elvis in Vegas, on his national concert tours and on recordings from 1969 to 1977.
Myrna Smith, Sylvia Shemwell, Estelle Brown and Cissy Houston (mother of superstar Whitney) were the members when the group first worked with Elvis. Houston left to go solo after the first gig with Elvis. Among those to fill the vacant spot was Anne Williams, who joined them in 1970 for a short time. Brown, Shemwell and Smith soon settled on being a trio. The three stayed together and worked with Elvis until the end of his life. They eventually went their separate ways professionally. In the early 1990's they started performing together again. Due to illness, Sylvia Shemwell has not been touring with us for the last couple of years. Today, new members Portia Griffin and Kelly Jones join original members Myrna and Estelle on our tours of Elvis In Concert.
Myrna Smith recalls that first meeting with Elvis, "He walked in and had on a chocolate colored suit. He had a tan, and he looked absolutely gorgeous. He walked over to us and introduced himself - like we didn't know who he was: 'Hi, I'm Elvis Presley.' (Cissy literally fell off her stool.) From then on, whenever he'd see us, it was always a kiss." Smith remembers his talent, "He had so much energy. His voice was a lot more remarkable than it ever came off on record...He was just a much better singer than could ever be captured...Some great singers' voices are just too big. Elvis' was like that."

Doug Church began his Elvis career in the U.S. Air Force in 1983 while competing against hundreds of other contestants and winning annual talent contests. Starting at the base level and proceeding through to the regional levels, he defeated the best entertainers from many bases in the European and U.S. Air Force commands. In four years, he collected 11 first place trophies for his well-developed likeness to Elvis, as well as other categories ranging from best male vocalist to best comedic performance.
After leaving the Air Force in 1987, Doug continued his act around the Midwest. In 1990, he competed in the fourth annual Worldwide Elvis Impersonator Contest in Memphis, Tennessee against Elvis entertainers from all over the world. He took home the second place prize for only his first time in this competition. The following year, Doug returned to Memphis to capture the first place crown as "The World�s Best Elvis Impersonator." In 1993, after a successful audition with Legends In Concert (a musical entertainer venue based in Las Vegas, Nevada) he started touring the country and the world. Doug has performed in such exot
