BandAlternativeRock

The Elwood Band is an original alternative rock band out of Laurel, DE. We blend the styles of blues, pop, rock, and funk into a cacophony of awesomeness -- in other words, a musical orgasm. We're four musicians on a mission...Spread the word!

Biography

Our name is the Elwood Band, and we're an original alternative rock band from Laurel, DE. Since our introduction into the Delaware music scene in April 2012, we've managed to turn some heads with our fresh sound and meet some really great people. The continuing support from our fans, friends, and family will always be the driving force behind our band. You guys rock.

The sound that we produce is a smooth and infectious blend of Sublime, The Black Keys, Jimi Hendrix, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cage the Elephant, and Led Zeppelin. The results? You can expect funky, bluesy guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and a rhythm section with a backbone of solid steel.

We're currently recording our first EP at Mid-South Audio in Georgetown, DE. It will be available for purchase and download by mid-April of 2013. The title for it will be "Saturnalia."
