Bio

I was 8 years old when I fell in love with hip hop. My brother was a DJ when we were younger and that is when I first heard a rap song. I use to enter myself in talent contests beat boxing, dancing, and rapping. I was good at everything, but I continued with the rapping. To me it was more my style. After I started winning in the contests, I saved up my allowance money to buy studio time when I was 13. I had so many influences as a child from Jay-Z to 2Pac to Bone N Thugs -N- Harmony, but one person stood out the most for his beats. When I first heard One In A Million by Aaliyah that is what made me want to become a producer. All of the different cords and notes that Timbaland used was amazing. I bought my first drum machine when I was 16 and started making small beats for me and my friends to freestyle off of. I became a member of Deep South Tycoons where I released my first album in Sept. 26, 2000 called “Get Crunk With Me” that I produced. At that time I was only 18 and about to graduate from High School. I did opening shows for 8 ball and MJG, Juvenile, Too Short, Mike Jones, Pall Wall, and Chamillionair just to name a few.

After leaving Deep South Tycoons I started my own label called Crockett Street Entertainment. I went on to release my first mix tape in 2002 called “Underground Mix tape Vol. 1” and another in 2004 called “The People’s Choice”. I have produced 10+ albums for local artists and I have done dozens of outside productions which include hip hop, R &B, and Pop. At the end of 2004 I started receiving my vision from God as far as the type of music that I really should be making. I felt disgusted with the current message in hip hop at the time. That is when a new reality hit me. I recently released my first Christian hip hop mix tape called “Get To Know Me Vol. 1” on June 30, 2006. I have plans to release a series of mix tapes and spreading the word of God to everyone. I am currently working on my album titled “Get To Know Me Tha Album” already in the works.
