EMAEL is an eclectic indie/alt group that was formed by two cellists. The band has converged many genres of music ranging from their classical roots to indie/alt-pop influences. Orange County natives, they have shared their unique sound with various venues from huge festivals (Sun God Festival '14), the largest concert halls, and to the most intimate coffee shops. Cellist multi-instrumentalist frontman Emmanuel Ventura-Cruess assembled the band from his music friends in 2013. Both Emmanuel and Mikko Pablo studied cello together at Cal State University of Fullerton during which their first EP 'Venym' was released in 2015. Daniel Kristoff is the skilled percussionist of the group, Michael Womack the guitarist, and Alyssa Cantal provides vocals.
