Bio

Emaline is a singer songwriter who possesses the unique talent of being able to blend fiery vocals with lush melodies and merging many genres of music to create her own delicious sound. With the help of her all female co-conspirators, she has spent the last two years delighting and amusing audiences in Canada, USA, Europe and Australia. Emaline's band "The Sweet Time Girls" consists of four young creative and vibrant female musicians incorporating piano, cello, guitar, bass, accordion, percussion, drums, and vocal harmonies. Ambika, Alicia, Emily & Cat each add their own distinct personalities to Emaline's diverse and original music with much laughter, passion and fun onstage antics.

Influences range from Tori Amos, Neil Young, Split Enz, Crowded House, Kate Bush, Ani Difranco, Nina Simone, Bjork, Dar Williams, Stina Nordenstam and Chris Isaak.

Emaline's performances are fun, honest and captivating and incorporate anything from lilting lullabies to funky folk, jazz roots, melodic blues, rockabilly, bluegrass, lazy cabaret and lush eclectic pop/rock from an Australian perspective, as well as a handful of foreign and traditional songs.
