"Waynefest, Alberta Canada"

Emaline was a highlight of this year's festival. Faced with terrible
weather conditions, a struggling crowd and an under-the-weather Stage
Manager she trooped on to bring Waynefest 2005 a top notch show. Talent,
looks and fortitude. What more can you ask for in an entertainer?

September 2005 - Brock Skywalker, Artistic Director

"Edge of the World Festival - Queen Charlotte Islands Canada"

"Emaline Delapaix and her group captivated our festival audience with a fantastic, well-rounded set.

As much fun between songs as the music itself. Definitely one of the favourite acts of 2004. I would recommend her for any event."

July 2004 - Frank Wall - Artistic Director

"Festival of the Rivers, Hinton West Virginia"

West Virginia's second annual "Festival of the Rivers" was most fortunate to feature internationally renowned Australian singer/songwriter, Emaline Delapaix, as it's Saturday night Headliner.

The anticipation of the audience was only exceeded by their excitement once Emaline and her Sweet Time Band took the stage!
Emaline's original voice, her energy and her passion was soothing and invigorating all at the same time!

She and her cohorts have already been asked to return to Hinton for the 2006 Labor Day weekend-long festival, as she was and will be a vital and vibrant part of the international line-up!

September 2005 - Ray Nutter, Festival Organiser

"Neuen Welt Ingolstadt Germany"

"A surprising, unusual evening with marvelous music.
The Australian easily filled the area of the Neuen Welt with her voice, inspired with musical versatility, charming stage presence, playing jazz and salsa, flamenco and rock, folk and world music, seductively and with honesty."

"Causeway Newsletter - Black Nun Folk Club North Antrim Ireland"

"Last time round at the Black Nun we saw the bouncy, bubbly singer /songwriter,
Emaline Delapaix, who had travelled all the way from her home in Australia,
to entertain us with her very own eclectic brand of songs. She had collected
two very fine musicians to accompany her, while passing through England, &
Sarah on Guitar & Emma on Cello were worthy of a gig on their own. Despite such a rigourous schedule, the girls gave a terrific performance, much loved by the large crowd who proved just how much they had enjoyed the concert by buying almost a whole box of CDs, always a great litmus test of a good night."

7th September 2003 - Dick Glasgow

Bio

Emaline Delapaix is a Toronto based Australian singer songwriter who possesses the unique talent of being able to blend seductive vocals with fiery melodies, merging many genres of music to create her own delicious sound.

With the help of her all female co-conspirators, she has spent the last five years delighting and amusing audiences in Canada, USA, Europe and Australia, incoporating strings, guitar, piano, accordion, celtic harp, percussion and more.

This Winter, from Amsterdam to Cornwall, performing songwriter Emaline Delapaix is taking her show on the road, braving the weather, London traffic, and unidentifiable road trip food. Accompanied by Montana born pianist/singer/opening act Amy Seeley as well as special guests Emily McMillan on violin, Teresa Morini on bass/guitar and Lynda Vanden Elzen on flute for selected shows, Emaline will be bringing her eclectic folk/jazz/pop music to a venue near you.

Her influences range from Tori Amos, Neil Young, Split Enz, Crowded House, Finn Bros, Kate Bush, Anja Garbarek, Ani Difranco, Billy Bragg, Nina Simone, Bjork, Dar Williams, Stina Nordenstam, Lisa Ekdahl, Emiliana Torrini, Chris Isaak and many more.

Emaline's performances are fun, honest and captivating and incorporate anything from lilting lullabies to funky folk, jazz roots, latin, gypsy flavours, rockabilly, bluegrass, lazy cabaret and lush eclectic pop/rock from an Australian perspective, as well as a handful of foreign and traditional songs.
