Forget the 'less is more' principle that's used by so many bands. According to this four-piece from Manchester, more is more and you can never have too much of a good thing. Embers' sound is epic and grandiose, with elements of post-rock, psychedelia, film music, shoegaze and the kind of choral big music that Arcade Fire and Sigur Rós are known for. They have steadily grown a fan base over the last two years since they formed in 2011 and with a debut album scheduled for release in 2014 and a positive buzz that keeps getting louder, Embers is sure to get even bigger this year.
