Bio
Emenere Ette, better known by his stage name Emen, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer living in the UK.
Emen first appeared briefly on the music scene in 2013 with his single titled ‘Burn cash’ which played across local radio stations.
In 2016 he took time out to further his education, gaining a MSc in Forensic Accounting.
Emen recently rejoined the music scene in 2021 as an independent artist. After improving and redefining his sound, he released his first EP ‘Emen dey here’ on 9th July 2021.
Emen’s passion for music started from a young age. However, it became more apparent during his early teenage years that music will be a major part of his life.
Emen was raised with a strict Christian upbringing, listening to the likes of Don Moen and Cece Winans, which would later lead him to joining the choir.
On the secular scene Emen listened to the likes of Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Tyrese, Craig David and Plantashun Boiz among others.
Emen's unique sounds is always evolving to accommodate new trends. He is indeed one entertainer you should keep an eye out for
