"ECL Wins Spot in Country Showdown Finals"

Yes indeed , Panama City's own Emerald County Line took first place
in last night's (9/22) Colgate Country Music Showdown held in
Tallahassee. We appreciated the crowd's response and the judges'
remarks...even the toughest critic (their version of Simon I guess)
had kind words for us regarding our performance and the original tune we played.

We go back to the Riverfront Saloon in Tallahassee for the
State Competition next Friday night. I know most of the members here are rockers, but if you're interested in supporting a local band and can handle country music come on out and check out the show.
The next round would be the Regional Competition in Jacksonville the following week, and then the National Finals in Nashville (where else?) if we're fortunate enough to make it that far.
