Come Back to Me

Written By: Emilie Lewandowski

Come Back to Me

Verse 1:
I’ve been saving you the papers
I’ve been eating alone
I’ve been keeping the light on
In case you come home

I’ve been pacing around this plave
I’ve been wishing on stars
I’ve been staring out the window
Counting the cars, singing

Chorus:
Ba-a-a-aby
Come ba-a-a-ack to me
Don’t say ma-a-a-aybe
Come ba-a-a-a-ck
Come back to me

Verse 2:
I’ve been writing about you
I’ve been trying to clear my head
I’ve been feeling kind of sorry
About the things I said, so

Chorus:
Ba-a-a-aby
Come ba-a-a-ack to me
Don’t say ma-a-a-aybe
Come ba-a-a-a-ck
Come back to me

Older Daughter

Written By: Emilie Lewandowski

Verse 1:
I spend all this money
On a bed that I can’t sleep in
And I buy food that I won’t ever eat

I spend all day dreaming
About when he used to be here
And the things that he would say when he’s asleep

I bathe in the silence
Of all these bad decisions
And the promises I really meant to keep

Chorus:
And I-e-I don’t know where I went wrong
There’s not one moment I can pin this on
Nowhere to place the blame
I guess I bear the shame

Verse 2:
I have all these plans
And I want to change the world
But all I do is sing and sleep instead

I try to make sense
Of the madness that I see
But the thoughts are spinning circles in my head

I relive the moments
All that they have shown me
And all the things I really wish I’d said

Chorus:
And I-e-I don’t know where I went wrong
There’s not one moment I can pin this on
Nowhere to place the blame
I guess I bear the shame

Bridge:
I have found my voice inside
The older daughter cannot cry
I have found my voice inside
The older daughter cannot cry
I have found my voice inside
The older daughter cannot, will not cry

Chorus:
And I-e-I don’t know where I went wrong
There’s not one moment I can pin this on
Nowhere to place the blame
I guess I bear the shame

No One Can Find Me

Written By: emilie lewandowski

I grew tired of the lights and the smiles
A long time ago
Don't read the maps and I don't count the miles
I just hope that the roads

Take me somewhere no one can find me
Except maybe you
Take me somewhere no one reminds me
What I'm supposed to do

I walk the streets with my doors left open
What have I got to lose?
I know where I've been but don't know where I'm going
Just hope the path that I chose

Takes me somewhere no one can find me
Except maybe you
Takes me somewhere no one reminds me
What I'm supposed to do

All of the faces and places and things that I bought
Didn't please me nearly as much as I thought
I take shelter from the ones who tell me I'm wrong
To hide in these words and hope that my songs

Take me somewhere no one can find me
Except maybe you
Take me somewhere no one reminds me
What I'm supposed to do

Alright

Written By: Emilie Lewandowski

Alright

Verse 1:
Sometimes it comes, sometimes it goes
Sometimes the melody just flows
Sometimes you’re here, sometimes you’re not
I’ll take what I’ve got

Sometimes I’m wrong, sometimes I’m right
Sometimes it isn’t worth the fight
Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down
At least you’re around

Pre- Chorus
And I don’t know why
It’s hard to find my place
And I don’t know why at all

But ti-i-ime has come
For me to move on
T-i-i-ime has come

Chorus:
This world is spinning
What side am I on?
I must be upside down,
Gotta get turned around
Somewhere, someday
This has gotta feel ok
Someplace, sometime
It’s gonna be alright
It’s gonna be alright

Verse 2:
Sometimes it’s cold, sometimes it’s dark
Sometimes I don’t know where you are
Sometimes the sun is all I need
Sometimes I just breathe

Sometimes the time goes way too fast
Sometimes the hours last and last
Sometimes you can’t see the sky
Sometimes you don’t try

Pre-Chorus 2:
And I don’t know why
It’s hard to find your place
And I don’t know why at all

But ti-i-ime has come
For me to be strong
T-i-i-ime has come

Chorus 2x:

This world is spinning
What side am I on?
I must be upside down,
Gotta get turned around
Somewhere, someday
This has gotta feel ok
Someplace, sometime
It’s gonna be alright
It’s gonna be alright

Bring you Back

Written By: Emilie Lewandowski

Well I can make some noise
With just this wood and string
And I can lift my voice to words
And sing

But that won't bring you back to me
That won't turn the sand into the sea
I get lost in these songs
But it doesn't last long

Well I could cry myself to sleep
No one would know
And I can tell my friends it was easy
Letting go

But that won't bring you back to me
That won't turn the sand into the sea
I get lost in these songs
But it doesn't last long

I never found the words to tell you I was wrong
I never dreamed there'd come a time when you'd be gone
And I still hold on to my pride and sing along

But that won't bring you back to me
That won't turn the sand into the sea
I get lost in these songs
But it doesn't last long

Well I can make some noise with just this wood and string
