Emilio and the Celtics is a Rock band formed around its 9 years old drummer Emilio Rodriguez. Emilio started playing at age 2. He debuted on stage for a 600 people audience at age 4, where he played Led Zepellin's "Moby Dick". At age 5 he won the first place of a cover band contest, playing songs by Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. At age 6 started recording his first 7 song EP "Extended Play 1" with his band that is currently formed by Emilio on Drums, "El Patas" Rodriguez (Guitar), Pablo Enriquez (Bass) and Gretel Zavaleta (vocals).
Emilio and the Celtics has played on the most renowned stages in Mexico including Teatro Metropolitan and the "Vive Latino" Festival. The band has been the opening act for bands such as DLD, La Castañeda, Eli Guerra, Los Bunkers, Los Daniels and Lucibel among others.
Emilio and the Celtics are currently preparing the songs for their next album which is planned to be released in the summer of 2014.
