BandRockSpoken Word

A very engaging live performance, emotionally charged and energy driven. From the music to the storytelling, the shows are talked about for weeks to come. A performer no to be missed.

Biography

A Savannah transplant, Emil hails from war-torn Eastern Europe. He has been playing the guitar for the past nineteen years, and from age six to twenty-five, he has developed a style many say is reminiscent of both Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. In late 2007, he began SNJ Records and has released a collection of songs that fit in an intimate live setting. He has been touring non stop in support of his "soul charged"-(Ben Knight, Indi Independent) album. His set's always include stories about his songs and letter readings that motivate audiences "To get Plugged in" (Sara Nelson, Live World) His spoken word sections are always informative and funny, poignant moments really bring out the songs. He has written a book of essays and short stories that will be released in late summer of 2008 that with out out a doubt will keep this tour hungry troubadour on the road for months to come

Lyrics

Unwelcomed

Written By: Emil

I don't know how to feel no more
When you tell me I am not welcome at your door
And I don't wanna' be at your door
I am not welcome no more
I try to lock away everything i ever thought of you
Though I know you thought of me more than I thought of you
I got to tell you, now that I'm gone I'm free so free

Stranger I need to burry my faults
I need to hide myself into this waltz
My lips they move but they say nothing at all
But my eye's say it all

I take you, I take you so wrong
And I know I'm gonna' be here so long
But I tell you
Now that you're gonna' be here forever and ever

Stranger I need to burry my faults
I need to forget myself into this waltz
My lips they move but they say nothing at all
But my eye's say it all

You said leave and I did, but remember child it's gonna be alright
You step into my ocean, and then you drown at first light
how can you fell so free when i leave you chained to your door?
how can you feel so free without your love?
Every guitar string I have played, every door I stayed, I stayed for your love

You

Written By: Emil

You left your mark in me, the good and the bad.
From everything you said, to what you never had.
The things you did and didn't want to see, you made a better, better man of me.
You can be my angel, my shield, my prayer and my hope, you've been my cliff my guilt, my chain and my rope.

It's so easy easy to see
the you inside of me
Wait, here what I got to say

Eye's that would cut me two, you could always see the truth.
You said "the hardest part was livin''" Then you just gave in, gave in.
You were strong, no could be that strong that long

It's so easy easy to see
the you inside of me
Wait, here what I say

It's gonna' be alright...

I was the righteous when the mirror revealed a cheat
I've given from these empty pocket's, but i still remain a cheat
Everything I've done and Everything I've been through, The best part of me has always been you

It's so easy easy to see
the you inside of me
Wait, here what I say

It's gonna' be alright...
