Still working on that hot first release.

Emily Rink is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter born and raised in Brisbane. Drawn to music at an early age, singing became a fundamental part of her life. Through networking and collaborating with other local musicians and artists, Emily has been able to grow her talent, and develop new skills on both the keys and guitar. As a free spirit, Emily’s passion for music gives her the perfect creative outlet to showcase her talent.

Emily has been writing original music for over five years has showcased it over the last 2 years; through live music, featured vocals and her own original releases. ‘She Doesn’t Know’ is Emily’s debut single which was released on Spotify in May 2019 and has reached over 32,000 streams. Her second single, ‘Restless’ was released on Spotify in October 2019, and now has over 19,400 streams.

Emily Rink has a similar sound to Florence + The Machine, London Grammar and Daughter. Her deep, husky, low-range tone and strong, haunting, high register creates a seamless diversity in her music.

Emily’s new single, ‘How It Feels’ explores the inevitable & raw feelings that come from a person who’s had their emotions toyed with, over and over again. The song reflects on the ‘games’ that are always fun at first – until you lose. The lyrics tell a story of heartbreak as the protagonist looks back on what could have been, but never was.

Inspired by Vera Blue, Jack River, Holy Holy, Lime Cordiale and Spacey Jane, this track’s edgy guitar riffs, floaty synths and layered vocals create the quintessential indie pop vibe. Engineered/Written with Sunshine Coast producer & singer/songwriter, Christian Patey, ‘Do You Know How It Feels’ was produced by Jordan Power in Byron Bay – Most commonly known for his work with Boy and Bear, Angus and Julia Stone, Dope Lemon, Kasey Chambers and SKEGGS.
