Emily Angell

Emily Angell

New York City, New York, USA

Small town charm melds with big city grit to make Emily Angell stand out as one of the the up-and-coming singer/songwriters of Generation X. Emily has hit the scene with a mix of catchy melodies, honest lyrics, and a unique style that speaks to everyone.

Emily is unique breed of women singer-songwriter who knows her way around a recording studio as recording/mix/mastering engineer and producer. Her crystal clear Pop soprano has been compared with Colby Caillat and Taylor Swift, and is infused with a grit and soul that is uniquely hers. She has performed her acoustically-driven Pop-Folk tunes all over the East Coast.

Emily writes with the likes of DJ Disciple on Catch 22 Records, and recently recorded “Let It Shine” for the 2009 Junior Maccabi Games in Israel with co-writer Sneakas. She's sung on ad campaigns for Nickalodeon, The Game Show Network, and Hood, and continually creates original material with the help of her songwriting and production team.

Emily hails from a family of musicians and engineers, and has made New York City her home, since she arrived at City College from Binghamton, New York six years ago. She's currently finishing up her debut EP, and looks forward to coming to your town in the very near future!
