Still working on that hot first release.

Emi is a British born, Aussie singer/songwriter. This means she possesses two passports and supports whichever team is winning.

Leaving England's sunny shores at a young age, the Green family dragged Emi to the grey and miserable beaches of Perth, Western Australia after spending three years on the mission field, working in isolated communities in Alice Springs and Papua New Guinea. 9 schools and 5 homes later; Emi finished her highschooling at 16 and, not being the sharpest tool in the shed, was accepted two years early into a degree in Physiotherapy. Inevitably, she chose passion over logic and shipped off to Sydney.

At 17, Emi won the role of Chava in an international tour of A Fiddler on the Roof and toured with the company for almost three years alongside the legendary Chaim Topol. Some good advice from the man himself (her onstage Papa) kept Emi away from drama school: "Your audience are your best education. Learn from them!" Some TV, more theatre work and occasional jazz singing work helped the off season periods fly by.

In 2008 Emi moved to London to see what she could do with the clean red passport in her drawer. Music had always been a passion but her writing had always been more for the personal diary. A UK musical tour of Joseph was the turning point. Struggling with the monotony of twelve shows a week; it occurred to her that music was the only thing that kept her mind and creativity buzzing. At the end of the tour she moved onto a narrowboat called Aslan in deepest Wiltshire to put her head down and write. Now with a honed sound, a decent pile of tracks, several music videos and plenty of gigging experience behind her; Emi has moved to buzzing Camden Town to chase the music dream...
