Emily McCannon band

Emily McCannon, a powerhouse of a singer, is soft spoken and quiet, but her personality turns 180 when she steps onto a stage. She has been performing since she was 12 years old to audiences large and small. Her talents are confirmed by her state and national awards she has received, including Vocalist, Songwriter, and Entertainer of the Year for the Georgia Country Music Association. She has a wide variety of influences. Waylon Jennings, Jennifer Nettles, Willie Nelson, Jessi Colter are just a few of her favorites. She has taught herself how to play guitar and has a stage presence that is undeniably addictive. In 2010 Emily set out on search for a guitarist and found Charlie Garland. Charlie was excited to venture into a new direction with a country band. He introduced Emily to Clay Hinson (bass) and Mark Turiano (drums) and Matt Joiner(guitar). They all have different backgrounds that attribute to the high energy of their sound. The band brings a unique blend of rock and country. Their shows are exciting and the chemistry between the entire band can be felt the moment they step on stage together. Emily tours regionally year round
