"Hot Press"

"...infectiously memorable and this debut is certainly stirring stuff on a par with anything in its genre."

- Mark O'Hare, Hot Press

"myspace.com/irishmusicscene"

"Emily has, probably, one of the best overall sounds I've heard in a "new" band in quite a while. Heavy, guitar-riff driven anthems with Christine's powerful voice soaring over the top of them are on display right from the off."

- Myspace.com/IrishMusicScene

"Herald AM"

"Emily are one of the popular bands in Dublin at the moment"

- Herald AM

- Chris Wasser

"THINGS TO SAY"

"Musically, they seem torn between between the urge to rock their socks off Green Day style or indulge in a spot of Arcade Fire -shaped art-pop. Emily...a band with interesting things to say."

"Belfast Telegraph"

"The kids are already united...Emily are the next big thing...their album is a 100mph-guitar-laced piece of work ..with infectious hooks."

Bio

Formed just under 2 years ago Emily have gone from strength to strength. Having extensively toured Ireland and building up a solid fan base. They recently released a single which debuted at number 11 in the physical charts. The highest new entry (beating christina aguilera!). They have played many huge gigs including Vicar Street, Cork Opera House and the ambassador Theatre to name a few. They currently have an album on sale which has received critical acclaim. Emily’s music has already been included on advertising campaigns for Coca-Cola Blastbeat and RTE's Champions League coverage. Their song "You Fold Like A Twenty" was also the theme tune for the RTE2 teenage rock television series "BlastBeat" last year that 48% of teenagers in Ireland were aware of. Emily were voted in the top three local radio best songs of the year.
