Lyndon Joslin, scriptwriter and author of "Count Dracula Goes to the Movies," compared Emily Nghiem to a modern day "Bugs Buddha" -- a Zen Master who "comforts the afflicted" while "afflicting the comfortable." Note: Joslin also coined the nickname "Anti-Nuprin" describing Emily as "a little yellow pill that CAUSES headaches." - My first fan letter

Bio
As a lyricist, poet and political humorist, I draw my inspiration from classical literature and satire, political writings, and spiritual poetry and teachings, ranging from Shakespeare to Jefferson, Buddha and Jesus, and modern poetry and music. I have a background in musical theatre and write lyrical poetry and parodies based on diverse themes and music styles.
Writing songs, poetry and scripts comes naturally to me as part of a higher spiritual process. I believe the words flow from divine connections between the source and the audience for the purpose of uplifting humanity, through free expression of experiences from the past while also affirming hope and visions for the future.
