Bio

Musician/Producer Emma Carter has enjoyed playing her alternative/rock for audiences in and around the West coast. Her music is a combination of heart felt stories of life in the real world. Drawing on catchy guitar hooks layered with hints of The Cure and U2. While still maintaining the feel of beautiful acoustic guitar driven songs similar to Neil Young, Beck, The Smiths and Sinead O'Conner. Pushing the boundaries of alternative music to incorporate electronic beats and synths influenced by depeche Mode and Bjork. The result is a collection of work that documents Emma's life and the power a great guitar and piano melody has over the listener. "I want people to feel something familiar and new in my music that makes them want to dance". Emma grew up in England and now lives in Vancouver Canada.
