ON MELTT:

"Meltt are showing Australia why funk is having such an energetic revival.

In the best traditions of Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Jamiroquai, these six hot rising musicians are remaking the style(s) for the new century, bringing together sophisticated harmony, the bluesiest vocals I’ve heard in years, a tight, tight rhythm section and legendary guitar lines.

When you listen to Meltt, you’re hearing six totally distinctive musical personalities completely melded as a unit. Each one of them can hold a crowd spellbound - together, there’s no stopping them, and just try to keep the dance floor clear while they’re playing. This is a highly professional, energetic, energising and entertaining act that are guaranteed to get any crowd into a great mood." - Music Lecturer at QLD Univeristy of Technology
