Bio
Emma-Louise is an extraordinary singer/songwriter originally hailing from Cairns in far North Queensland Australia.
At just 17-years of age Emma’s talent for song writing and performing goes way beyond her years. She has already achieved numerous industry accolades including the 2007 Courier Mail’s People’s Choice Award for ‘Kim’s Song’, winner of Commercial Radio Australia’s New Artists 2 Radio competition for ‘Insomnia’ and winner of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation song writing competition, both in 2008.
Emma-Louise has performed in venues such as the Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane and Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast. She also opened the Sydney Festival in Hyde Park with the Sydney Youth Orchestra in January this year. She has supported legendary Australian artists such as Tim Rodgers, the Audrey’s and Mental as Anything and has played alongside the Living End, Faker and the Galvatrons.
Emma-Louise has released two EP’s, ‘Surrender’ and ‘Autumn Tongues’ and is currently finishing her debut album due for release later this year. Her new album is being produced by Nigel Pegrum, a legend in his own right, having produced 5x UK Gold and 7x Silver albums and winning Best Producer, Best Engineer, Album of the Year and Best Indigenous Album for the QLD Recording Association Awards.
