I am Emma Ray.
I began studying jazz guitar when I was around 12 years old and eventually fell in love with singing too.
I write all my music and lyrics.
I love to dress up and perform. I would say that the true me shines thru the most when I'm on stage.
I like to play solo, but really enjoy playing with a whole band. I would say that my music is unique in that It appeals to an audience of all different ages and styles. It is very original and influenced by old hip hop/jazz and swing, new hip hip and and R&B soul, electronica, dub/reggae, and by my journey thru this life discovering the truth of who I am.
