We formed in '07. Dan was looking for a band that he had really been trying to form for about 7 years. Just honest rock music. Influenced by the likes of Quicksand ,hum, Foo Fighters, and Shiner. Matt move to Minnesota from Austin, TX and found Dan through an ad on craigslist. Matt sited influences such as Lawrence Arms, Lanemeyer, and Alkaline Trio. Scotti found the two via an ad placed in a Minneapolis weekly and brought the sounds of Braid, Saves The Day, and Jimmy Eat World to the mix. Chad has some of the most eclectic tastes in the band and brings a lot of very angular type of tones to the band. emmett LOVES playing live. It's what we live for. We try to go on every show and play it like it's our last because we know how fleeting playing in bands with people you enjoy being around can be.
