Bio

Originally from Nicaragua, and making London Ont. home, E-Mortal feels blessed to have been an avid fan of hip hop during arguably the 2 most important "renaissances" in hip hop history, both in 1988 and 1994. Weaned on such artists as Bone Thugs N Harmony, Wu Tang, Snoop Dogg, 2pac, Big Pun, Nas, Royce Da 5'9 and Tha Outlaw (Immortalz....where E-Mortal credits the origins of his name).

E-Mortal's musical background began at age 18, with a couple of friends. But his fate was to be sealed later in 2000 when he started taking his talent more serious and helped start an independent label (Penetraitor Inc). After the label came to a hault in 2004, E-Mortal single handedly released his stunning debut album "Poison Tongue" which is available on his web site.

In the spring of 2006 E-Mortal joined Verse (a long time friend, artist, owner of Life Records) in maintaining the buzz and keeping hip hop relevant in Canada with multiple songs on radio, and performing at many different venues for Life Records throughout the country, at the same time he was producing for other acts and formed a small "super-group" bearing the same name as one of his production companies "The Reign".

Noticing the abundance of talent and the potential each of these artists had by themselves, the idea was quickly and amicably shelved..... although several songs were recorded and collaborations among these artists is consistent to this day.

A trip to Nicaragua, Promoting for "Poison Tongue", various mixtape releases, numerous guest appearances, an eye opening tour, another trip to Nicaragua, and a first hand taste of what the latin market can do...all in 2 years, were enough to pen the his 2nd and most current album..a double album: "Spanglish".
