Bio
Empire K. is based in Los Angeles. It consists of singer/producer Sacha Mendel. He has previously played shows in NY, but are now bringing their sound to Los Angeles.
Born and raised in New York City, Sacha Mendel was brought up in the fashion world with the family company is J. Mendel. Sacha has also written about art and worked at V Magazine while attending New School University. Sacha’s background is French/Chinese and some of his influencesare David Bowie, Gorillaz, and filmmaker Truffaut.
Empire K. tells the story of how romantic love has pushed Sacha to build his own life. It's a story about taking a leap into the unknown future, not knowing what will come of it, for love. Through ethereal sounds, Sacha is world building his Empire.Edit
