Bio

Empire Radio started as a one man project just as some sort of a hobby to put together some music for ones own amusement. As things started to move forward and locals picked up on the music and word spread, it offically became an actual band, well not a band but a solo project. Empire Radio eventually started doing shows in early 2010 as an acoustic singer/songwriter type of act playing in the greater Toronto area for a number of shows then eventually playing a local festival in its home town.
The show its self is laid back bringing numbers from its self titled independent release Empire Radio. As a solo act he utilizes backing tracks on a majority of the songs but also does a few songs accompanied by just an acoustic guitar or a keyboard. However, when other musicians come in to the fold the music takes on a life of its own taking cue from modern days alternative acts such as arcade fire, collective souls, ben harper, silversun pickups, etc..... Empire Radio can play a solo act or even bring a friend or two along for a more in your face approach.
The music of Empire Radio has been described as disjointed art pop, but in most cases its straight ahead alternative bring a wide array of influences into its mix of modern music such as , collective soul, beatles, beck, black keys, etc.... just to name a few.
The music of Empire Radio was concieved as a source of amusement for one individual but eventually word got out and people started picking up on it and eventually gave way to a solo acoustic project eventually morphing into a two piece band that you now know as Empire Radio.
