"Bal Infernal - live show review"

The second show came from hometown heroes End to End a unique project I can only describe as sci-fi metal. In a world full of industrial acts, End to End are a fresh take on multiple electronica genres, expertly blended with a razor sharp instrumental edge.

They are a sight to behold as well: costumed from head to toe, eyes hidden behind arcane masks, End to End look like a post-apocalyptic militia that takes no prisoners. Their choreography was subtle but effective, not to distract from the music, but sufficient to convey an eerie ambiance, as though the performers were …not quite human. - Synescape

END TO END ( endtoend1954@gmail.com ) ELECTRO-ROCK, MONTREAL, CANADA

Mid 2015, singer-songwriter Dani Rod and guitarist Carlos Mora started a project that aimed to blend the power of Rock & Metal, with the newest tendencies of Electronic music. Following a post apocalyptic storyline, in which the Nu World Order enslaves the lower classes, 9 songs were produced. They would tell the story of how the members of End to End were captured and how they would eventually escape from prison and lead the resistance against their oppressing government. Meanwhile the two remaining musicians emerged. Sergio, a proficient bassist, and Pascale, a well seasoned and renowned drummer of the local Montreal scene.

With the lineup complete, the development of a strong visual concept that would reinforce the industrial and technological vibe of their music began. Live costumes that followed their post apocalyptic vision were produced. After 6 months of intensive practice, End to End was ready to take the stage.

As all parties had been well known for playing large venues with previous bands, they started to get booked fast. Following a release party at L’Hemisphere Gauche in November 2016, End to End was asked to play the legendary Foufounes Electriques venue for a sold out tribute night ( Korn, Marilyn Manson ) February 2017. Later on to share the stage with Montreal’s celebrated circus band Spacemak3r, then for another show supporting Ghost tribute band The Clergy, and later as a headliner of the 2017’s Bal Infernal at Katacombes. Taking the time to prepare their 1st album “Fate of the World” and their 1st music video ( The End of the Line ) over the summer, they planned to release their vision in September, just in time for the 2017 Goth Fest, organized by Gl Arts. The response was superb!

By September 2018, End to End was called upon to open for California’s very own Goth rock monsters Wednesday13. Sergio had an unfortunate family emergency, and had to leave the band. He was quickly replaced by Camilo Novoa, a talented and committed bassist that brought his own persona to the mix ( Bones ).

The release of their 2nd music video “Death’s Alive” was successfully overtaken December 2018, while they shared the stage with NU rock partners in crime Dirty Laundry. In return, they invited End to End to participate as a supporting act for their own EP release party March 2019 at Piranha Bar with Jessica Speziale (Toronto) and Honest Honesty, organized by On a Roll Records. This show was the 1st to be played with Ghyslain Roy as their new drummer.

Their following venture, was as an opening act for none other than ex-Type O Negative’s drummer's Johnny Kelly and Sal Abruscato’s new super group, “A Pale Horse Named Death” in May 2019. It was succeeded by a local concert, organized by Heavy Montreal, Canada’s largest metal festival, were they had the opportunity to shoot a video rendition of the Game of Thrones main theme, just in time for the series finale.

The organization behind Vankleek hill Farm Fest, had received word of the powerful live act that End to End brings to the table, and so they were added to the bill, for the festival’s 3rd edition at the side of well seasoned bands like Beyond Creation and Obey the Brave that took place in June 7-9 2019. They released their 3rd official music video “Synergy” just in time for their following show with celebrated Industrial Dutch band “Grendel”, who blessed Canadian soil June 30th 2019.

Moving forward, they decided to step outside their comfort zone, and headlined the “Night of the Nerd Music&Masquerade” where they released their cover of the Doom videogame theme, and a Starwars/Avengers medley. It took place at Esports Central Gaming & Entertainment Complex, with fellow Rock bands Double Experience & Tortuga. Their last gig before the unfortunate pandemic was in the neighbour city of Quebec at Le Bucher Bar with some celebrated local acts.

Since the pandemic they have returned with their previous drummer Velox, and welcomed Mario Soto on bass after responding to an invitation to play the open air Rock inc. festival in their hometown of Bogota - Colombia. They were asked to play in neighbouring cities, and so the "Dimension Zero" tour was born, which will take place between Febraury 25th and March 5th 2022. This all in time for the release of their latest video "La Ciudad de la Furia", a tribute to the fallen Gustavo Cerati, singer of renowned Latin American Rock band "Soda Stereo".

To sum it all up, End to end is a professional audiovisual act that is eager and ready for growth, ready to transform into a renowned global participant of the never fading Heavy Music scene.
