Bio

Endeva the BeatZmith, born in Atlanta, GA, took Hip-Hop music to heart at an early age. At age 1, he moved from Georgia to New Jersey and began his journey into an era that motivated him musically. While expanding in his young growth, Hip-Hop was in its prime with the likes of legends Rakim, KRS-ONE, Kool G Rap & Big Daddy Kane. These particular icons inspired him to adapt to the streets which played heavily in his poetry. In the 7th grade, he commenced his thought process into a well delivered positive message that he desired greatly for the world to capture. He continued his lyrical abilities throughout High School. After his High School graduation, he moved from New Jersey to Detroit, Michigan. Endeva had to quickly adapt to a workforce environment controlled by the government and society. In this distinct period of events, his father Andrew "Mike" Terry (A member of the original Funk Brothers and a Motown legend) began to teach him the fundamentals of the piano and musical arranging. During this period, he was attending college at Wayne County Community College in Detroit, Michigan and decided that his field of studies wasn’t for him. So he initiated his talents over the years into musical producing. In his early 20s, he was introduced to a partner that was also musically gifted and formed a group entitled “Raw Loops”. This production duo developed and lasted well into the late 90s where their talents were heard by the Wu-Tang Clans “Sunz of Man”. By this time, they had countless amounts of musical compositions waiting to be heard by the public. In 1999, Raw Loops and the Sunz of Man collaborated briefly at the Alien Flyers studio in New York. After this significant event, Raw Loops traveled back to Detroit, Michigan where the duo met Chris Webber’s group “No Coast” and recorded a few songs. In the late part of 1999, the group encountered a subsequent turn of events which caused them to go their separate ways. Endeva continued to craft his talents as a solo artist. He produced a few albums on his own which displayed only a portion of his love for Hip-Hop music!! He has also become one of the most influential remix artist as well winning the top 24th spot in the latest Public Enemy/M-Audio remix contest "Harder Than You Think" in late 2008! Look out for Endeva the BeatZmith's new solo venture entitled "The Editorials" comin Winter/Spring '09!!
