Bio

Endless Era is a Rock band based out of Tampa, Florida. With strong infuances from every great rock band from the 60's to date. The band started to take shape in Early 2003 when Doug Joos, after parting ways with the group Strive, teamed up with long time friend Justin Levitt. After several months of rehearsing and growing better as a duo, the two went looking for a lead guitar player and bass player. Four months of searching eventually lead Doug to Tonos.com where he saw an ad for a lead guitarist in the area named Frank Calcaterra. Frank came in and was exactly what the band was looking for. On top of that his room mate was Eugene Gasparini who also played guitar. With fairly little coercing from Doug, Eugene was a go for becoming the new bass player and Endless Era was born.

From that point Endless Era grew in ability and material quickly and was the winner of the 2004 And-then-there-was-one Battle of the Bands at the Skate Park of Tampa. From there they were one of only two bands selected in Florida to participate in the 2004 Got Milk Battle of the Bands. Even with the meager following of a fledgling band, Endless Era came within 4 votes of winning the contest. During that time period the band sought out Tom Morris of Morrisound to record a 5 song Demo. The demo rivals the quality of many albums recorded today and is arguably better than some.

In the middle of 2004 Frank decided that the balance of performing and maintaining a personal life was to difficult and resigned as lead guitarist leaving the band in a slow moving adjustment period. Doug has now taken over these duties and new shows and recordings will be taking place in 2005. Stay tuned!
