Boston Phoenix: “Imagine the Verve, Ride, Slowdive, or My Bloody Valentine if any of those bands went jogging on a regular basis. There’s a bit more of a rock thrust to these songs than is often found up the nü-gaze tree, and it’s a welcome alternative to the increasingly overcrowded raft of NyQuil-core”

Styrofoam Drone: “Their music is full of heavenly, crystal clear guitars (Ocean Drive), fuzzy distorted bass lines (Last Phase), and sudden bursts of energy from start to finish that are bound to catch you off guard.”

Stuff@Night: “A rock undertow keeps the band’s dreamy, ethereal shoe-gazing soundtrack from floating too far afield in the ethereal abyss.”

bestofmyspace.uk.com: “Shoegazey goodness with a bit of drive about them. Like Galaxie 500 doing the Jesus and Mary Chain’s speed.”

Weekly Dig: “They’ve taken an established genre and breathed new life into it, and this impeccably produced debut shows they’re ready to take the dream-pop reins for themselves.” - http://www.endlesswave.info/about/

Bio

Endless Wave is a 3-piece American Britpop band taking an energized approach to shoegaze and psychedelic rock. The band consists of Andre Obin (bass, vocals), Timothy Ryan (guitars) and Tucker Dawson (drums). Marrying elements of post-punk and dream pop, the band's sound has been aptly described by press as "skygaze".

Formed in 2009, Endless Wave showed promise when the band’s first single, “Last Phase” (produced by Obin) received regular spins on local rock radio, WFNX. Over the course of 2010, Endless Wave recorded 2 EPs with legendary producers, Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies) and Adam Taylor at Camp Street Studios in Cambridge, MA.

Their first EP, City Walls, was released in June of 2010 and their sophomore effort is due out in the spring of 2011. Both EP’s are being released on the Boston indie label, Fort Point Recordings.
