Endora

Endora is the natural outgrowth of the songwriting of Josh Lemay. He uses Endora as an outlet for songs, primarily about people, relationships, humanity and the awkward and painful moments that birth or abort hope. Blending the influence of a vast amount of singers and songwriters, to create a sound that is sometimes familiar and often unique. While the roots of the band may be firmly placed in today's outsider indie songwriting cohort (Palace, Songs: Ohia, The Microphones, The Mountain Goats and Neutral Milk Hotel) Their arms reach out to timeless music like that of Otis Redding, George Jones, or The Carter Family.
