"The band's name might sound emo to most, but these guys are anything but. Nearly filling Darkside's tiny back room (35-40 people), E.T.A. ripped through a set like Jonny Rotten on crack. Yes there were moments of screamo, but when surrounded by hardcore, post-punk and prog, they can be overlooked. The songs are intense and well written, often showcasing some great musicianship. Think Transplants meets Sex Pistols. Singer 'Dick Holiday' controls the energy and stage without trying. His vocals stagger from punk to screamo to thrash, taking the audience with him, like it or not. Highlights were Holiday opening, "Remember, each and every one of you was a puddle of cum," and a blazing screamo version of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues." End This All is an aggressive five piece from Dallas, Texas with a powerful stage presence that blends punk rock, hard core, and experimental sounds into an unrelenting audio assault.
Formed in 2004, End This All had one mission in mind, playing music to create a new sound different from the regurgitated template rock mold that has become the industry standard. The band released their debut self titled E.P. in 2005 which has received airplay on XM radio and TV commercials.
Currently End This All is recording new material for their first full length album to be released in 2008. End This All continues to make every show more powerful than the last while drawing the crowd into the energy and presence of the music.
