After a DIY first album self-released in 2003, Éric Gingras AKA Enfant Magique - has carried on crafting sweet, dreamy songs both in French and English and playing intimate solo shows until Collis Browne (head of the No Weapon record label) decided to give Enfant Magique a hand to record, produce and arrange these tunes into a second album.
It was only logical that after a long recording and mixing process No Weapon decided to release LArt DEnfiler Les Pearls on vinyl for Halloween 2011. The first albums lullaby were replaced by expensive pop songs where unexpected tones and textures collide forming a mattress (or sometimes a smoky veil) for atypically catchy melodies landing Enfant Magiques effort somewhere between Robert Wyatt and a Song Cycles Van Dyke Parks.
