Bio

Cecilia Enni is a singer in English, Spanish, French and Italian. She is from Italy, and also a songwriter who during her many years of experience has been able to create her strong artistic soul and world. She moves in the realm of electro-pop music, while introducing foreign contaminations that exalt her very sweet and penetrating voice. Her live concerts never fail to create a magic atmosphere embracing her spectators.

Right now Cecilia is finalizing her new album produced by Andrea Benassai while getting ready for her upcoming promotional live-tour. This new album explores the influential elements of British music productions bringing Cecilia's work to a whole new international level. New sonorities were introduced to create intriguing mixes and discording sounds that the voice of Cecilia Enni magically pulls together to create a harmonious and upbeat work of art. Needless to say her songs are also sung in English.

Enni has been writing her own songs since the age of 15.
While she studies as a singer she also dedicates herself to learning to play violin, which she defines "the voice of the gods" due to the sounds it produces, very similar to the human voice.

Her interest in other civilizations and cultures brings upon her a great passion for Arabic music. Her first songs feature typical Arab and Eastern instruments such as the sitar, ukulele and bouzuki mixed with electronic beats.

Her first inspiration is drawn from international artists and groups like Dido, Skunk Anansie, Bjork, Enya Sarah Brightman, and The Ark. French and Greek artists, as Daniel Balavoine and Georgos Mazonakis, also strongly influence her talent. She also writes songs in Spanish and English.

Her songs are played by many Italian radio such as Radio Futura, Radio Stereo Marte , Radio Montecarlo and Radio Uno (the Italian national radio) during the magazine called "Demo".

In 2005 she rearranges "Lauretta" a classic Italian from the past to transform it into an elaborated slow bossa with jazz hints. Her idea of translating it into Spanish makes of this piece a hit that encounters great success. The smaller radio stations decide to broadcast it until it arrives on the waves of big-hit radios such as Radio Capital and Radio Subasio.
Lauretta brings Cecilia on an Italian tour during the summer of the same year. With the same piece she continues her concerts into 2006 and opens various shows of the Italian stand-up comedian Giorgio Panariello.

In 2008 Enni participates to several music projects and becomes the lead voice of Celtic groups such as Taberna Vinaria. With the band Cecilia interprets antique songs in Latin and Galician, reaffirming her passion for diverse and antique cultures.

2010 is the year of her promotional single "Esco Nuda", also the title song of her album developed in cooperation with Diego Calvetti. Radio Italia, Radio Cuore, Radio Kiss Kiss and Radio 101, among the biggest stations in Italy, play "Esco Nuda" in high rotation.
A promo video also accompanies the song. Directed by Serena Corvaglia, supervised by Luca Tommassini, and produced by Filmmaster, the video it is broadcast on All Music.

The new album of Enni will add a milestone in her career bringing her to an international artist level. This is her first work thought for the market outside of Italy, and she has worked hard to create an original music artwork to conquer the heart of her potential fans abroad.
