Bio
enRot began in August of 2004. The band wrote songs and practiced for almost 5 months with no permanent bass player. Rick Bistrup filled in for bass until James McCleod, former bass player for Broken End, a Las Vegas metal band, joined the band. We are all influenced by the staples of American Metal, as well as some foriegn bands. The individual band members influences range from Fear Factory to Tool to The Cure and Seattle grunge. enRot has come together to produce a sound that is energetic, crunchy and all together one of the heaviest bands you'll find still playing today, while not falling into the cliched genres of death and thrash metal. Their songs are short but brutal and to the point. They never dwell on one riff or groove for long enough for it to become repetetive. It leaves you wanting more, every time. enRot stands out in Las Vegas both as a heavy band and as serious, determined musians with a common dream and the drive to make them happen.
